the other weekend..

I took the extended family to my place of work for the sneak preview of HK's latest and greatest theme park.

Apart from cries of "fuck me, look at the size of that rat!..it's even wearing a dress!", and "I never knew donald duck never wore trousers, he should be arrested!"..we had a good day.

spent a shitload on limited edition T-Shirts and baseball caps (we english call it rounders, and it's a girls game in the UK)..incidentally, look out for the special limited edition T-Shirts soon to be found on sale at stanley, temple street, and other upmarket trading venues.

Then after 6 hours traipsing around under the baking overcast sun, managed to escape the park and head off for a well deserved beer.

I was really pissed off about that!...we have previously been plied with free beer from the management on a few occasions by way of saying thanks for us selling our souls to the great rat, but this time, they decided THE NIGHT BEFORE!!! that alcohol was to be forbidden in the park (and smoking, except at special yellow bins in strategic locations miles away from anywhere)

So there we were, stuck with as much free coke and sprite as you could shake a stick at, not to mention the free maxims food which is available at numerous locations throughout the park (and it's all crap, as only maxims could be)

The place we went to afterwards only sold san mig, but we drank it anyway...it was cold, and it was nearly beer.

it was, you could say...an experience...and an experience you all will be getting very soon!

what's going on with simon?

not content with spewing forth his own drivel(like the rest of us bloggers), he has now turned into the biggest baddest link-whore this side of the planet.

and not only is he unhappy with his ratings from linking to every blog possible, he has now seen fit to promote himself as the kissel reporter. As if Phil at flyingchair wasn't doing a good enough job?..or maybe the HK standard?

I've been away for a while, but now I've managed to scrape together a few minutes to post.

this will probably never get read now anyway, seeing as my readership has most likely dropped to zero seeing as I never posted anything for the past month and a bit.

but I don't care, let the masses come back to me...for I am here now.
